New federal regulations which were proposed
by the Clinton administration in May of 2000 are just the tool that Big
Brother needs to pry open your private health records. A virtual wolf in
sheep's clothing, this legislation is hyped as the ideal solution to protect
patients' privacy, but closer scrutiny reveals that it would actually
eliminate any semblance of privacy by opening those files to
unrestricted government inspection.
For example, under the new guidelines your private DNA
data can be marketed to drug companies, blood banks and sperm banks.
Patients will be forced to waive their privacy rights in order to obtain
treatment. The government can review your records without your consent in
direct violation of the Fourth Amendment:
The right of the people to be
secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable
searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue,
but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and
particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or
things to be seized.
In his last minute flurry of regulations, Clinton
proposed a plan to assign a Unique Patient Identifier, or UPI to each
person– again, prohibited by law. In 1998 Congress
passed a law barring the development of a "unique health identifier
for individuals," according to NewsMax
on May 16. But laws are made for honest citizens, and not for
power-hungry globalists. Unfortunately, Bush has given the green light to
these new regulations without adequate review.
Universal ID numbers of any type should come as no
surprise. Scripture forewarns of the day when each individual will be
required to have one before they can buy or sell. Introducing this concept
under the guise of a medical panacea is shrewd, indeed. People are being
systematically desensitized for the implementation of world government.
Jesus exhorts us in Mark 13:23, "So be on your guard; I have told
you everything ahead of time." Ignorance of His word will be our
greatest enemy in the last days. TOP
