What does the current energy crisis in California, the Club
of Rome and the Sierra Club have to do with each other? Everything,
according to John Elvin writing for the February
28 issue of Insight Magazine. Southern California Edison (SCE), one of
the electric power companies facing bankruptcy before the rate hike the
last week of March, was told in a 1982 meeting between SCE and the Sierra
Club that the environmental organization had no intention of finding a
solution to California's energy needs. Just the opposite. They were
implementing the no-growth, one-world, collectivist agenda of the Club of
Rome. Their intention was to shut California and the nation down. In other
words, the reason for the California energy crisis has been well known for
nearly twenty years! It has nothing to do with deregulation, as popularly
promoted by the mainstream press, and everything to do with a global
agenda.
The 1982 meeting between Southern
California Edison and the Sierra Club
Elvin, "a throwback to the old days of 'journalism'
when reporters actually walked the streets and got to know every cop and
thug," paints a shocking story of the cold-blooded agenda of the
Sierra Club and the global elitists. The meeting occurred sometime in 1982
in Utah between SCE's Chief Executive Officer, William Gould, and other
company officials and the head of the Sierra Club and other Club officers.
Who exactly represented the Sierra Club is in the dust bin of Gould's
memory.
Gould is often called the father of modern electrical
distribution because he pioneered the power grid concept. He had requested
the meeting with the Sierra Club to determine what it was the Club wanted
to do to protect the environment while still providing cheap electricity
to California customers.
Although Gould would not comment directly on who said
what during the meeting because he could not remember exactly, "two
sources with knowledge of the meeting tell Insight that a Sierra Club
leader told Gould the group was 'not interested in accommodation.' They
were not even interested in what is perceived to be conventional
conservationist concerns, the welfare of wildlife and so on. It was at
this point that the Sierra Club leader perhaps went further than he
intended, going beyond disdainful rejection to reveal an agenda far beyond
the club's public image as a purveyor of pretty books and calendars. As
one source put it: 'They said that what they were interested in was
creating a society restructured along the lines recommended by the Club
of Rome.' (Bold added for emphasis)
When asked who had made this statement, Gould said,
"I can't tell you who (among those at the meeting) said it.... I had
many strange encounters in those years. I would want any quote to be
accurate so I just won't speculate." While not remembering exactly
what was said, or who said it, CEO Gould affirmed the truth of the
statements made--that the Sierra Club leadership had no interest in
protecting the environment, but in advancing an earth-worshipping,
antihuman agenda bent on creating a world government so a small global
elite could control the rest of the world.
Most people believe the Sierra Club and other
environmental groups are simply out to protect the environment. Not so. As
stated by the Sierra Club in 1982, most are fully involved in implementing
the agenda of the Club of Rome. Elvin states that "The Club of Rome's
reputation is built on the doomsday report Limits to Growth published in
1972. The report predicted imminent global disaster due to out-of-control
population growth, industrial expansion, depletion of natural resources,
food shortages and environmental degradation. And here's the kicker: These
catastrophic results might be avoided through creation of a collectivist
world government and through attrition and consumption." (Bold
added for emphasis)
Coffman states in his book, Saviors of the Earth?,
that the key to success according to Aurelio Peccei, the founder and past
president of the Club of Rome was through the communication with nature
and the collective unconscious of the human race. "In searching for a
new enemy to unite us," claimed Peccei in the Club of Rome's 1991
publication The
First Global Revolution, "we came up with the idea that
pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine, and the
like would fit the bill.... All of these are caused by human
intervention... The real enemy, then is humanity itself."
Peccei's outrageous comments would mean relatively
little were it not for the fact that the Sierra Club is moving lockstep
with its agenda, and the who's who of the global elite, like the various
members of the Rockefeller family, had not only been members, but strongly
supported the Club of Rome in the past. Notables like Mikhail Gorbachev,
former Premier of the Soviet Union and other Kings and queens of Europe
are still very much involved.
Never mind that the Club of Rome's projections of doom
and gloom have been so far off base as to be laughable. The projections of
the Club of Rome are faithfully repeated in the daily news as fact and by
hundreds of organizations like the Sierra Club. It is understandable since
most of these environmental groups receive a significant portion of their
funding from private foundations like the Rockefeller Foundation and
others that have connections with the Club of Rome. Peccei's 1978 book, Turning
Point, should send ice down every American's back:
"Philosophers have, from ancient times, stressed
the unity of existence and the interconnection of all the elements of
nature, man and thought. However, their teaching has seldom been reflected
in political or social behavior.... The winds of change have begun to
blow. A keen and anxious awareness is evolving to suggest that fundamental
changes will have to take place in the world order and its power
structures, in the distribution of wealth and income, in our own outlook
and behavior." (Bold added for emphasis)
The Sierra Club and other new age environmental groups
are systematically causing this fundamental change through the collapse of
America's wealth producing machine. And, California is leading the way.
Antihuman agenda becomes federal policy
The Sierra Club has had some radical leaders in the
past. David Brower was the Club's executive director from 1952 to 1969,
when he was fired because of his extreme beliefs. He was called an
"arch druid" for much of his life because of his occult beliefs.
He created the extremely radical group, Friends of the Earth in 1970 but
eventually came back to the Sierra Club as a director in 1983 where he
served until his death in November of 2000. Brower had not embraced the
popular do-gooder image of environmentalists held by most Americans, but
because the Sierra Club had become so radical that they embraced the
twilight zone concepts of Brower and Foreman.
Brower also mentored David Foreman who left the
Wilderness Society to create the group Earth First! Earth First!, in turn,
spawned the ultra-ecoterrorist group The Earth Liberation Front (ELF), now
much in the news for numerous acts of arson, sabotage and vandalism.
Foreman, along with Drs Michael Soulé and Reed Noss, also wrote the Wildlands
Project which called for one-half of America to be placed in
wilderness core reserves and wilderness interconnecting corridors where
humans were not allowed. In the 1992 Wildlands Project proposal published
in a special issue of Wild Earth
, Foreman and company state,
"Our vision is simple. We live for the day when
grizzlies in Chihuahua have an unbroken connection to grizzlies in Alaska;
when gray-wolf populations are continuous from New Mexico to Greenland;
when vast unbroken forests and flowing plains again thrive and support
pre-Columbian populations of plants and animals; when humans dwell with
respect, harmony and affection for the land; when we come to live no
longer as strangers and aliens to this continent."
In his book, Saviors of the Earth?, editor of
Discerning the Times Digest, Dr. Michael Coffman, exposed the fact that
both Soulé and Noss were movers and shakers within the International
Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and were involved not only in
writing the Wildlands Project, but the UN Convention on Biological
Diversity as well. Coffman, along with three other individuals were able
to stop the ratification of the treaty in the US Senate when they provided
documentation to the Senate proving that the treaty was based on The
Wildlands Project.
But that didn't stop Foreman and crew. Immediately upon
taking office, the Clinton administration named Foreman as Under-Secretary
of Interior. In this capacity, with Interior Secretary Babbitt's blessing,
he began implementing The Wildlands Project concept as official government
policy through such government programs as Ecosystem Management, The
American Heritage Rivers Program, the UNESCO World Heritage and the Man
and the Biosphere Programs, and finally, the massive declaration of
national monuments just before president Clinton left office.
While still serving as Under-Secretary of Interior,
Foreman was elected as director to the Sierra Club, and the Wildlands
Project became a major goal for the Club. In 1999-2000 Brower made a major
effort to take over the Sierra Club, and "had nearly triumphed,"
according to Elvin. The effort failed "when ill health caused his
withdrawal."
Under a strong delusion
The worst is yet to come in California, according to a March
6 CBN analysis. When the big heat hits this summer, well-placed
sources out here have warned CBN Senior Reporter Dale Hurd that
Californians can expect massive "structural blackouts." They
promise to be much worse than what occurred in March — even with the 40
percent plus rate hikes approved in March. Hurd notes that in
"talking to California business and environmental leaders, one gets
the impression that Californians know a few things the rest of us don't.
They most certainly do, like how to effectively shut off significant new
building projects in highway, water and energy infrastructure for a decade
while adding six million new residents and creating a surging high-tech
economy (based on electricity). Yes, it takes a special skill to try to
drive a great state into the ground while managing to grow fabulously
richer. But you can't defy economic gravity forever."
"State leaders still refuse to face reality and
sacrifice any environmental standards, no matter how unreasonable,"
claims Hurd, "for enough cheap, abundant power for the future. And
until they do, any manufacturer with an ounce of sense in their head would
be nuts to build here or stay here." That is, of course exactly what
the Club of Rome and the Sierra Club had planned for 20 years ago. And,
now it is happening. Except nobody sees the real villain —
environmentalism and the global agenda. Instead, they blame deregulation,
a straw horse that has little to do with the real reason people are going
to undergo real suffering in California.
Environmental leadership probably represent the greatest
threat to America today. They should be rated public enemy #1. Yet,
because of the relentless support of the one-world globalists and the
mainstream media, Americans have been deluded into truly believing
environmentalists are heroes, fighting for environmental protection for
all Americans. In fact, these leaders want to see the majority of
Americans eliminated from the planet so they can enjoy a pristine mother
earth while controlling the every activity of the remaining masses.
America, the world and even the Christian church are
being led by the pied piper of deceit and delusion, sure they are doing
right when in fact they are on a road to self destruction. Remember Paul's
admonition in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15: "For such men are false
apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no
wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not
surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness.
Their end will be what their actions deserve." V
