Some may say it was just something
done in poor taste. However, it is much, much deeper
than that. It represents a growing mindset in America
that no one, no matter how much good they have done,
better say no to the homosexual agenda. On August 18
the Washington Times reported that a group of
California delegates had made posters attacking a
group of Eagle Scouts invited by the Democratic Party
and then booed and hissed them when they mounted the
stage because the organization refused to permit
homosexuals to attain leadership positions within the
scout program. But that is not all. The posters that
they paraded in front of the boys said "We
Support Gay Boy Scouts."
Jeering and taunting perverted
signs in front of boys who have worked hard to meet
very high standards is not only moronic, it is sick.
This sickness is especially prevalent in the White
House. On Thursday, August 17 the Associated Press
reported that the Clinton Administration is taking the
unprecedented action of joining a local government in
a suit to protect gays from employment discrimination.
The suit is against a Southern Baptist man, Dr. J.
Barrett Hyman who argues his Christian beliefs prevent
him from hiring gays and therefore the local ordinance
violates his constitutionally protected freedom of
religion. The White House knows that they must win
this case. The freedom of religion clause of the First
Amendment stands in the way of a totalitarian world
government and universal religion. The Clinton
administration is attempting through this case to
force a decision making the state the arbitrator of
religious rights.
Evil is overcoming America at an ever increasing
pace with each decision in the courts. Each successful
effort to denigrate the good that the Boy Scouts and
other wholesome organizations can bring to society
causes us to fall deeper and deeper into depravation.
The ultimate goal is to destroy the Christian church. V
